The light emitted by 630 nanometers red LED (light emitting diode), penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the cells. The photon emission will cause a biological transformation in the cell, creating a natural chemical reaction. Thanks to the photo-transduction (the light radiation received by the cell turns into a biological response); fibroblast activity is re-activated, as well as increased production of elastin fibers and collagen synthesis. Thus skin restructures and becomes denser in depth. The results on the skin quality are comparable to those obtained with other more stressful techniques and without any trauma or scarring.
